Seeing the Everyday in Twenty Thirteen
Our lives are the sum of each moment and interaction. Each day we work, eat, laugh, teach, play, read, remember...and work at it all again the next day. Within seemingly small exchanges we find opportunity to build relationships, develop character, find joy for the price of our time. Life's most essential possibilities are realized at home. Where we share, teach, grow, learn, serve, give our best without praise or fanfare. Because every effort, every moment matters in the development of a person. Nothing is really routine. I give myself for the good of my family and find the poetry within life's daily prose by Seeing the Everyday.

Brady celebrated his 17th Birthday today!

Wow! Do I really have a son that's 17 years old?!

I think the best gift he received was Baptizing Braxley.

After the Baptism we had a celebration luncheon with our neighbor, The Sanford Family (our Bishop's family - we are so lucky!) and Ernest and Marilyn Farr. It was Marilyn's birthday on Friday the 5th, Braxley's Baptism, Brady's Birthday today the 6th, and Brinkley's Birthday tomorrow the 7th. We enjoyed some yummy food and visiting with one another. The kids played all day with the Sanford kids on the Wii and watching videos.

Brady opened his birthday presents and we went to one of his favorite places - Joe's Crab Shack.

It was a great day. I love you Brady.
