Seeing the Everyday in Twenty Thirteen

Seeing the Everyday in Twenty Thirteen
Our lives are the sum of each moment and interaction. Each day we work, eat, laugh, teach, play, read, remember...and work at it all again the next day. Within seemingly small exchanges we find opportunity to build relationships, develop character, find joy for the price of our time. Life's most essential possibilities are realized at home. Where we share, teach, grow, learn, serve, give our best without praise or fanfare. Because every effort, every moment matters in the development of a person. Nothing is really routine. I give myself for the good of my family and find the poetry within life's daily prose by Seeing the Everyday.

The boys love Scouts. It's great to see them get their full uniform on and participate in weekly den meetings.

Kolby and Braxley each received awards at the pack meeting tonight. Kolby recieved his Citizenship Belt Loop, Citzenship Activity Badge, Handyman Activity Badge and his Scholar Activity Badge. Braxley received another yellow bead for completing three Achievements and he also received the Football Belt Loop and Pin. I have been Braxley's Wolf leader but was just recently released. We have been able to accomplish a lot in Scouts and Braxley only has a few more requirements and then he will earn his Wolf Badge. Kolby is progressing in Webelos and will soon receive his Arrow of Light Award. Congratulations Cubs!
