Seeing the Everyday in Twenty Thirteen

Seeing the Everyday in Twenty Thirteen
Our lives are the sum of each moment and interaction. Each day we work, eat, laugh, teach, play, read, remember...and work at it all again the next day. Within seemingly small exchanges we find opportunity to build relationships, develop character, find joy for the price of our time. Life's most essential possibilities are realized at home. Where we share, teach, grow, learn, serve, give our best without praise or fanfare. Because every effort, every moment matters in the development of a person. Nothing is really routine. I give myself for the good of my family and find the poetry within life's daily prose by Seeing the Everyday.

Amazing Fun!

We got some gift cards to Amazing Jakes so we took Kolby and Braxley today. They had so much fun eating the food from the buffet, playing games, laser tag, bumper cars, rides, and playing minature golf twice. They said that was the best time and was so great offering their thanks for the treat. They said it was amazingly fun!
We've had a lot of fun with the boys while Brady, Brinkley and Kasey have been away this week. Actually, Brad's been awesome taking the boys on bike rides, feeding the fish at Freestone park, playing catch out front and at the park, and swimming. We've also enjoyed watching Ratatoullie and the Scripps Spelling Bee. We've watched it the last couple of years and it's amazing to see these kids participate each year. They are so smart and Kolby and Braxley love to learn new words and listen as these kids spell them correctly. Wow!
We also took the boys to see the Emma Smith Story movie. They really enjoyed it and knew a lot of the history of Joseph Smith, so it was a good story for them. It was a sad story though. Joseph and Emma's life story is probably one of the saddest, but Joseph and Emma also had a great love story.
Thanks for a fun week!
