Wheat Bread
Monday, May 19, 2008
Over the past couple of weeks I have been baking homemade wheat bread thanks to Carla who inspired me to get my 10 year old, "brand new" Whisper Mill wheat grinder out of the box and put it to good use! The kids have loved having the homemade bread and I do feel better knowing they are eating this bread that's healthier for them. Here are some pictures:

The bread doesn't seem to rise anymore than this size and I've made this bread three different times now. It still tastes good! Thanks Carla!

Kimberly, did you change your yeast? I can't think of any other reason why your bread isn't rising. Hmmmmm
If it tastes good then that's a big huge plus.
I haven't changed the yeast. You know the bread rises as tall as the pans. Maybe their are taller pans to purchase? My pans are just normal size. The bread does taste wonderful so that's the main thing.
