Our lives are the sum of each moment and interaction. Each day we work, eat, laugh, teach, play, read, remember...and work at it all again the next day. Within seemingly small exchanges we find opportunity to build relationships, develop character, find joy for the price of our time. Life's most essential possibilities are realized at home. Where we share, teach, grow, learn, serve, give our best without praise or fanfare. Because every effort, every moment matters in the development of a person. Nothing is really routine. Baking & Bracelets

I have also been busy making Mother's Day treats and bracelets for the kids teachers and the sisters I visit teach in the ward. I love cupcakes. I think they are so fun and just the right size for one person. I searched online for some homemade recipes. I made a vanilla bean cupcake with vanilla bean cream cheese frosting.

It was fun slicing the vanilla bean and scraping the seeds. The vanilla bean really does add a wonderful flavor and makes the frosting look beautiful. I also made a homemade chocolate cupcake with chocolate gonache buttercream frosting. Yum-o!


I attached the bracelet to the box with the cupcakes inside and included quote for the visiting teaching message. For the kids teachers we made gift bags that included a bracelet, card, and a small loaf of homemade wheat bread.


I also made a batch of yummy chocolate chip cookies. Don't they look good?

Yum, Yum, Yum. Those cupcakes look so good and so fancy. You have been in quite the baking mood lately!
